Celestial Drizzle

I stand with my arms out wide,
expectant eyes hooked to sky,
agog like a yearning peacock,
waving the summer good-bye.

Your tiny droplets shiny,
strike my longing soul,
my cadaverous frame finally,
gets what the summer stole.

Your scent is angelic,
endows with the feel of glee,
it’s you and your blissful melody,
wherever these eyes can see.

Your pearls brush my lips,
and my smile goes wide,
I cavort down the road,
this felicity I can’t hide.
